Our latest Quarterly Compliance Report for October to December 2025 is out now

The Quarterly Compliance Report provides data and analysis on the performance of the program and how the NETCC is being enforced. This includes updates on retailer applications to join the NETCC and rejections, complaints investigations and outcomes including compliance actions, suspensions and expulsions and audits of Approved Sellers and outcomes including compliance actions. The report also provides useful guidance for Approved Sellers on avoiding common compliance issues identified in audits and complaints handling.

Last quarter, 189 retailers applied to join the program, and we rejected 7 percent of applications for non-compliance with the Code or non-response.

We opened 251 compliance cases to investigate complaints and closed 183 cases, both of which are quarterly records for the program. This increase in complaints, as adoption of new energy tech grows, shows the importance of the NETCC program in offering consumers additional protections and a channel to help resolve complaints.

42 investigations from complaints and audits resulted in compliance action. No Approved Sellers were suspended or expelled.
