Becoming a New Energy Tech Approved Seller shows your customers your business meets trusted consumer protection standards. It will also give you a listing on our Approved Sellers directory, resources to help you offer consumers a broader range of evolving new energy tech and access to tenders and government programs.

New energy tech can be a confusing space for consumers. The standards promoted by the NETCC aim to increase consumer confidence to purchase new energy tech. In February 2023, we will be launching a campaign to grow awareness of the Approved Seller badge among consumers looking for new energy tech.
Some state governments offer incentive schemes to encourage New Energy Tech uptake. Currently some of these schemes, such as the Victorian Government's Solar Homes Program, require participating retailers to be part of the Approved Solar Retailer program.
As the NETCC program will be replacing the Approved Solar Program, we will be working with the relevant scheme operators to ensure continued participation for NET Approved Sellers.
From 1 February 2023, our online Approved Seller directory will offer consumers an easy way to locate and contact your business as a trusted provider of new energy tech.
