The New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) program expands the scope of the Approved Solar Retailer (ASR) program to cover new energy tech products and services including solar PV, energy storage, EV charging, VPPs and more.
We will support all ASRs in transitioning their business to meet the new NETCC standards and become New Energy Tech Approved Sellers in preparation for February 2023. No additional application will be required to be submitted.

All Approved Solar Retailers will automatically become NET Approved Sellers in February 2023. From then, your business can use the new Approved Seller badge and should comply with the new NETCC standards. The Clean Energy Council will be providing all ASRs with further updates and supporting resources in the coming months.
Be careful not to order too much collateral with the Approved Solar Retailer logo in the meantime as it will be outdated from February 2023.
