Our latest Quarterly Compliance Report for October to December 2025 is out now.
The Quarterly Compliance Report provides data and analysis on the performance of the program and how the NETCC is being enforced. This includes updates on retailer applications to join the NETCC and rejections, complaints investigations and outcomes including compliance actions, suspensions and expulsions and audits of Approved Sellers and outcomes including compliance actions. The report also provides useful guidance for Approved Sellers on avoiding common compliance issues identified in audits and complaints handling.
Last quarter, 166 retailers applied to join the program, of which 12 per cent were not approved. We opened 175 compliance cases to investigate complaints and closed 167 cases, both of which are quarterly records for the program. This increase in complaints, as adoption of new energy tech grows, shows the importance of the NETCC program in offering consumers additional protections and a channel to help resolve complaints. 35 investigations resulted in compliance action, during which one Approved Seller resigned and one Approved Seller was expelled.
