Help improve the NETCC. Join the independent review.

Published on - 18 Mar 2026

An independent review of the NETCC program is underway place. Whether you’re a consumer, Approved Seller, or industry stakeholder, this is your chance to help shape stronger consumer protections in new energy tech.

The New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) program exists to help protect customers buying new energy tech. Since its launch three years ago, new technologies have emerged, consumer expectations have shifted, and industry practices have matured.

The NETCC review will examine how the program is working in practice for consumers, Approved Sellers and the broader clean energy market and how the program can be improved. The review takes place from March to June 2026 and is being conducted independently by PATHMAKER in partnership with grids.

You can participate in the review by taking an online survey and sharing your experiences of the program as a consumer, Approved Seller or industry stakeholder. By completing the survey, you can also register for upcoming workshops and focus groups.
