From 1 May, the Cheaper Home Batteries Program rebate will reduce for larger battery sizes and decline every six months. To access the current rebate, your battery system must be installed before 1 May.
Before you sign anything, ask your retailer to confirm they can install your battery before 1 May (if that’s your goal) and if your quoted price will stay the same, even if the installation date changes.
